RRC - Profile

The Red Ribbon Club (RCC) of our college is a voluntary youth initiative functioning under the guidance of the National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO), Government of India. The club works actively to create awareness among our students and the local community about HIV/AIDS prevention, voluntary blood donation, and health-related issues. It also encourages our students to adopt healthy lifestyles, develop social responsibility, and participate in community service activities.

Objectives of RCC

  • To create awareness about HIV/AIDS prevention and control.

  • To encourage safe and healthy lifestyle practices.

  • To promote voluntary blood donation.

  • To reduce stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV/AIDS.

  • To develop youth leadership and peer education skills.

Activities of RCC

  • Organizing awareness programs, rallies, seminars, and workshops.

  • Observing World AIDS Day, National Youth Day, and Blood Donation Day.

  • Conducting health check-up camps and counseling sessions.

  • Encouraging students to participate in voluntary blood donation camps.

  • Promoting community outreach and extension activities.
